Toronto – Bay Adelaide Centre

Bay Adelaide Centre

Toronto, Ontario

Bay Adelaide Centre encompasses one and a half city blocks and consists of three office towers: the West Tower (333 Bay Street), the East Tower (22 Adelaide Street West) and the Scotia Bank North Tower (40 Temperance Street). Due to the innovative design and technology incorporated into the construction and day-to-day operations, along with the complex’s integration into the heritage and community of the financial core, Bay Adelaide Centre represents a new standard for premier “AAA” class commercial properties.

The West Tower is 52 storeys and approximately 1.1M sq. ft. It opened its doors in 2009 and is certified LEED® CS (core and shell) Gold. The East Tower is 45 storeys and approximately 1M sq. ft. It opened its doors in December 2015 and is certified LEED® CS Platinum. Scotia Bank North Tower is 32 storeys and approximately 820k sq. ft. It opened its doors, completing the Bay Adelaide Centre, in April 2022 and is LEED® CS Platinum certified.

The sophisticated and contemporary ground floor lobbies are vibrant and spacious, over 28 feet or 8.5 m tall, with an abundance of natural light. The lobbies each feature large-scale art installations. In addition, the lobby has direct access to the PATH, an underground pedestrian walkway. Outside, Gingko trees and ornamental grasses frame the benches and open area in the adjacent urban plaza, allowing a pleasant respite for tenants and visitors alike.

Certificates and designations

Leading the charge in best-in-class building operations and sustainable practices, it’s always good to be verified. What does that mean? Well, it means we pursue certifications like LEED at our landmark addresses to show you we are operating sustainably. We’ve earned BOMA 360 designations throughout all of Canada to confirm that our building operations are best in class. More recently we’ve had our entire Canadian portfolio WELL Health-Safety Rated™ to confirm that we put our tenants’ health and safety first.
